Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. After work, I drove to Bellingham and spent Friday night there. On Saturday morning, I took 542 as far as I could. I saw Mount Baker (10775 feet) while driving, but didn't take any pictures. The weather was nice when I started. I left after about 2 hours, because the weather turned bad and the road to where I wanted to go was closed. Some flowers may be misidentified, because I'm not an expert.

The weather was nice and then I saw this cloud pouring over Table Mountain. It quickly became windy, foggy, and colder.

It looks so lush, yet there is some snow in the shade.

Can you believe that the road would still be closed on July 22? That's what world record snowfall will do. The road must only be open one or two months a year. Hiking trails were also closed, so I couldn't do the hike I had planned.
